Illinois Pork Producers Seek Youth Ambassador Deadline to apply is December 31st The Illinois Pork Producers Association is seeking youth ages 18-23 to serve as the 2009 Illinois Pork Ambassador/Intern. The purpose of the Illinois Pork Ambassador/Intern Program is to provide an opportunity for a young person to serve for one year as the official youth representative of the Illinois Pork Producers Association and to work as a part of the IPPA staff during the summer. The duties of the Pork Ambassador will include: County Ambassador Program Producer Education & Checkoff Certification programs Birthing Center at IL State Fair Promotion/Consumer Information Presenting at numerous Summer Ag Institutes Applicants must be between 18 and 23 years old and exhibit strong communication and leadership skills. This position reports to the Public Affairs department and works closely with Marketing, Human Resources and Investor Relations in an effort to communicate a consistent image and message to Mosaic employees, shareholders, and customers.   Work to ensure all messages are in line with Mosaic's strategy across the organization by working with business unit and functional leaders.
 
Principal Accountabilities:
 
  • Employee Communications - This person will collaborate with the Public Affairs team to determine the messaging and tone for our employee communications efforts.  They will be responsible for writing / editing CEO updates, content for employee website, bulletin postings, lead the way strategy updates, employee presentations, Town Hall meetings and articles for facility news letters.  This will require regular collaboration with business units to gather information and conduct research.
  • HR Communications - Collaborate with HR to maintain a consistent message through communications regarding benefits, policies and programs including bulletins, emails and brochures.  Work with the recruiting team to ensure consistency in messaging and tone for all recruiting materials across the organization.
  • External Communications - Maintain a consistent message and tone to our external stakeholders through the public website, corporate brochures and corporate advertising copy. This position will team with Investor Relations to provide a consistent message and tone through our press releases, earnings scripts, and annual report. 
  • Executive Speeches and Presentations - Ensure consistent messaging and tone through executive speeches and presentations to various audiences including employees, investors, and analysts.
